ECDL Profile

Everyone uses technology for different reasons. ECDL Profile allows choosing the module combinations best for individual needs. After passing the tests, those modules then represent your specific ECDL Profile, which are listed on ECDL Profile certificate. ECDL Profile is flexible, so candidates or companies can build the Profile that suits their needs or interests.


We recommend three ECDL Profiles - Base, Standard, and Advanced - each represents a different level of digital proficiency, and proof of the skill level that the certificate holder have.


ECDL BASE PROFILE


ECDL Base Profile is a certification of an individual's digital literacy. It consists of four separate modules that cover key ICT skills and knowledge areas:

Base modules:

M2. Computer Essentials

M3. Word Processing

M4. Spreadsheets

M7. Online Essentials

ECDL Base Profile certifies essential skills. These 4 areas come together to form the set of skills and knowledge that are crucial for all, which is why they are considered essential. If you successfully complete ECDL Base Profile, your certificate will include the confirmation about your digital literacy according the ECDL system.


ECDL STANDARD PROFILE


ECDL Standard Profile consists of all of the Base modules and any 3 out of the Intermediate modules.

M7. Online Essentials

Intermediate modules:

M5. Using Databases

M6. Presentation

M9. Image Editing

M12. IT Security

It is the most flexible of the recommended ECDL profiles, which demonstrate specific competencies in modules that are suited for the candidates’ careers or interests. The structure ensures that the candidates have certified essential ICT skills. If you successfully complete ECDL Standard Profile, your certificate will include confirmation about your digital competency according the ECDL system.


ECDL ADVANCED PROFILE


ECDL Expert Profile consists of 3 of the 4 Advanced modules.

AM3. Advanced Word Processing

AM4. Advanced Spreadsheets

AM5. Advanced Databases

AM6. Advanced Presentation

ECDL Expert Profile proves that candidate is a ‘power user’ in commonly used computer applications. To achieve ECDL Expert Profile, it is necessary successfully complete 3 of the four advanced modules.
If you successfully complete ECDL Standard Profile, your certificate will include a confirmation about your digital expertise according the ECDL system.
